Enhancing cooperation among the Prague Process states

The Prague Process Senior Officials´ Meeting took place in Prague on 27-28 February 2013 and gathered 54 participants from 33 states, European Commission, the Council of the European Union, Frontex, ICMPD, IOM and UNHCR.

The training which took place at the Frontex premises in Warsaw on 26-28 February 2013 was held in Russian and entailed two days of face-to-face training as well as one day of didactics.

The first meeting of the Prague Process Core Group was organised and hosted by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Poland and took place in Warsaw on 20 November 2012.

The 2nd Joint Workshop on Pilot Projects 2 and 3 was held in Prague, Czech Republic on 7-8 February 2013 and gathered representatives of 15 Prague Process countries, the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) as well as a number of external experts.

The Kick-off workshop of the Specific Objective 2 – Knowledge Base of the Prague Process Targeted Initiative (PP TI) was organised together with the Consortium for Applied Research on International Migration for the East (CARIM East) project (implemented by the Migration Policy Centre) and the Global Governance Programme of the European University Institute (EUI) from Florence, Italy.

The Kick-off Workshop of the Pilot Project 1 was held in Lvov, Ukraine, on 8–9 November 2012, and gathered 29 representatives of Prague Process 15 countries, the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).

The Kick-off Workshop on Pilot Project 4: “Quality and training in the asylum processes: the European Asylum Curriculum” was held in Stockholm on 30-31 October 2012. It gathered representatives of 20 participating countries and experts from EASO, UNHCR and ICMPD.
