EUDiF calls for applications to the Capacity Development Lab and Diaspora Professionals 4 Development

The European Union Global Diaspora Facility (EUDiF) opened applications for the 2nd round of its technical support mechanisms, the Capacity Development Lab (CDL) and Diaspora Professionals 4 Development (DP4D).

To benefit from these mechanisms, public authorities of partner countries, diaspora organizations in Europe (EU 27, Norway and Switzerland) and regional organizations are invited to submit requests via the EUDiF website by 29 August 2021.

Both operational mechanisms offer small scale support and technical expertise:

  • Capacity Development Lab, aims to develop capacities to empower diaspora organizations in Europe and partner countries to enhance collaboration and enable environments. Accessible to diaspora organizations in Europe, partner countries’ public institutions (central and local) and regional organizations. Civil society organizations and private sector can apply as partners alongside an eligible main applicant. 
  • Diaspora professionals for development mechanism provides direct support to partner countries via short-term virtual and/or onsite assignments of professionals from the diaspora. Accessible to partner countries’ public institutions (central and local) and regional organizations.
