Description

The main countries of destination are Russia, Israel, the USA, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland.  According to the 2014 official data of National Statistical Committee, the number of immigrants totalled 232,1 thousand persons, while the number of emigrants totalled 247,8 thousand persons. The balance of net migration totalled 15,7 thousand persons in 2014.
